Vladimir Radunsky (2006)
The first exhibit hosted in the Library was a students’ project. In fall 2006 the students of the art history course AH 279, Issues and Trends in Contemporary Art, curated the display of 25 children’s books by prominent Russian author and illustrator Vladimir Radunsky.
The project was lead by Professor Cornelia Lauf and guided by Radunsky himself. The class took care of the whole event, with original, innovative solutions. Labeling, for instance, was replaced by direct handwriting on the walls. Guests were invited to actively participate with manipulating postcards featuring the author’s portrait.
